Scribe's
rap of Saturday, 1 Jan, Tour de Royal National Park - 10 crew - 99.5km

After 35km of cycling south down the Princes H'way and visiting the RTA blockade at north of Coledale, we backtracked 2km to Stanwell park where we again found Pepe's Corner Store open for business on a  morn' when there wasn't a lot else.

Our cafe/kiosk at Garie Beach, where there isn't a lot of choice.

Greg aka Grommet, KoalaBear, Katrina, ToothFairy in the masse START of the KOM Climb back to Sir Bertram Stevens Dr.

Grommet chomping into a biggish burger at Bundeena - that's a tong twister.

Heineken, Katrina, TugBoat, BeanCounter, Grommet, Bank Teller, LongHaul, ToothFairy 'n KoalaBear at Audley Weir, where the weather had warmed-up

Scribe's
rap of Sunday, 26 Dec, Tour de Windsor - 12 crew - 101km

Yamaha admiring his 'sample', after a hard fought 49km leg to Windsor with a censorious Samurai backstage (or did we just catch Tony in between "you can trust me smiles") with the late John Bulshi circa Blues Brothers about to chomp into a Bacon and Egg Sandwich with a pair of shootin' irons.  What's wrong with using your paws like the rest of us?

We were joined by ToothFairy & Princess Caroline who had started from Porters Lookout Dural.

A new cafe at Windsor, The Bridge Cafe, was unearthed which has only been under new management for a week.  Service was a tad slow, 'cause our order was large.  However, the coffees kept comin' and comin' some more.  All female crew led by new owner Linda renders it a "must" for future Muggs' sorties west to Windsor.  Address 2/80 George St about 50m along on LHS.  And with a "BYO" label on the front window, maybe Muggs should arrange a w'end ride to/from Windsor to party Sat night with the "Brunette Brigade" to find-out what happens after dark at 2/80 George St.

The attractive brunette waitress (RHS of above pic) seemingly thought somethin' was a glowing down a yonder on our Samurai.

Cafe owner Lynda (LHS) with Muggs Scribe, Denis aka Dapper, ToothFairy, nonchalant Printer, Paul, Tornado, Phil, Samurai

The familiar Hornsby Heights bus shelter after the equally accustomed climb from Galston cement bridge to the bus shelter, with tyros Paul and Phil on RHS - these two know how to hammer.

Pictures can be cruel.  If you had to caption a 'one liner' for the faces on the above motley lot, you wouldn't come up with too many cheery descriptions especially from Yamaha (2nd from LHS).
Lets give it a go!  L to R:

Samurai - "When will he click that camera? 'cause I busted my balls over that 3.3km climb to the bus stop and I just want to get back to my jalopy!!!'"
Yamaha
- "I think I've got something stuck up my ass!!!  And I don't think it feels good."

Bank Teller - "Don't know why I'm so cheery.  It must 've been the Rocket Fuel that I was on last night, 'cause I still came last on the KOM Climb from the bridge."

Printer"I just feel mellow!!!  Something to do with what I was smokin' a few hrs before dawn."

Dennis aka Dapper - "I'm not sure how I feel.  But when someone is clicking a camera, I'm all smiles."

New chums, Paul and Phil, on RHS - yet to be monikered, so too early to presume "mind-thoughts".
