early and cycle E along Mona Vale
Rd.
After our customary 12km Duffy's Forest
out/back, we enter Akuna Bay CLOCKWISE. Upon completing the circle to
McCarrs Creek we head for Church Point Café
for
1st Nosh Stop
from
9:55am
(30 min) [40.3km] adjacent to the water’s edge.
Rookies can cycle 20.1km directly to
Church Point
and retrace back unaccompanied.
We then
cycle N/E twds Mona Vale,
before taking a right into Cabbage Tree Rd thru Warriewood to
Narrow Bean Cafe 10 Waterloo St, Narrabeen

W up
Wakehurst Parkway,

starters
On a warm, balmy brill Springish morn', 16 crew
assembled at Grumpy's Cafe after 32km (from Nth Turra')
incl: ToothFairy, Kaza, Ant, Ned, Koala
Bear, Bank Teller, Yamaha/Linda, Adam 'n Eve, Heineken, Tornado, Kate aka
Flaxen, Pacific Pete, Whippet.
With Gene and Ann taking the short-cut back to Nth
Turra' from Berowra Waters Rd, our ranks were a tad thinner at our
2nd Nosh Stop of Pie in the Sky approaching midday after 69km from
Nth Turra'. However, after Heineken 'threw a shoe' at the ferry,
dutiful wife Sarah came to the rescue with new screws 'n bolts for Arno
at Pie in the Sky.
