Scribe's rap-up of Sunday, 9 Sept, Tour de Warriewood - 92km

On a warmish bright morn' after 35 clicks, 25 crew took an extended breather to shot the breeze at West Head after sorties to the Fruit Barn, past the home of Skippy, Duffy's Forest, on to the "U" turn at cow corner.  Thence returning to the Thai Restaurant for a fleeting Sag Stop, whereupon, full steam ahead to the Headland.
Two classic one-liners came out of today's coastal ride.
1.     Whilst assembling in St Ives car-park, Scribe announced that Sputnik had recently completed the arduous 1,200km 'Paris Brest Paris' Audax Supremo ultra endurance event in the requisite <36 hrs.  Sergey commented that particularly during the second 600km, Sputnik often pondered that he wasn't aware that there were so many parts of the body that could possibly all hurt at the same time.
2.      Twds the end of today's ride, Scribe had further problem with a bothersome chain.  Earlier Greenie and Heineken had ably repaired Scribe's chain, buy removing a link.  At the crest of Wakehurst Parkway, Scribe suffered a repetition with a link squeezing out the post pin.  Heineken enquired of Greenie, "Is it the same link as before?"  Greenie, rightly retorted, "How would I possibly know.  There are about 39 links in that chain, and they all look the same."

When was the last time you saw a Muggs' pic where the turkey gobblers were looking at the feed bowl?  The below two pics are not inconsistent with the above two.

Publican 'n Samurai wouldn't know what a real BrownEye was.  As evidenced by Koala Bear's complete apathy to his compatriots' anal protest, as he still continued to order tuckerFlash and Smiling Assassin, who evidenced Bank Teller's 'Brown-Eye' from the Berowra Waters punt many moons ago, when Scribe did the Full Monte from aboard the ferry - no pun intended.  If you want to see a real 'moon', check out the final pic in Bicycles are Better than Women
