Bank Teller's rap-up of "Yarramalong Valley - Wyong Iron Horse" - 93km

After patching a flat on Gracinda's front wheel, 16 crew rolled-out of Hornsby from 6:45am, and we collected LabRat at Berowra.  However, as we were to glean at Mt White, a few of the contingent had been awaiting for us at the station.

None of these pics would win an award for photographic excellence.  In the above pic, there are a bunch of Muggs 'soaking up the Mt White ambience', but, with backs turned, it is hard to recognise 'em.  Glenn on his recumbent is left of screen above, with LabRat and Publican in deep discussion, but probably chit-chatting about nothing they can recount.

In the pic on RHS is Pete who hammered hard on his mountain bike with biggish wheels, with LabRat front of screen.

With Glenn, Gracinda and Sputnik, turning around at Mt. White, 14 crew rolled-on for the 2nd leg [21km] slightly uphill to Peats Ridge.

The below pic is a happy bunch of campers at MidCoast Petroleum after 57 clicks.

After leaving MidCoast Petroleum we pedalled 8.7km NW where Tornado acted as Sign-Post at the Right into Springs Rd.  5km later we descended the corrugated Bumble Hill to Yarramalong Manor, where, under idealic blue skies and a rustic garden setting, we took our time over lunch.  LHS are Peter T, Arno and Adam, with Anya (visiting from Nth Germany) in the b'gnd.

Below pictures of a patient brigade awaiting the 1:37pm Express.  Geno, in the blueish jersey, is either talking into a piece of plastic or scratching his ear or noggin - the former didn't happen a lot as cell-phone reception was almost non-evident from Peats Ridge to Wyong.

Early arvo, most of the contingent returned to Hornsby after 93km of relatively flatish stuff.  However, LabRat and Scribe caught the 1:55pm All-Stops from Wyong, 'cause they wanted an uninterrupted snooze back to Hornsby, which PJ procured.
