Follow the railway along and Wallace Rd will end at a "T" intersection.  Cycle over a level railway crossing on your L, and take Railway Rd first on your R and remain on it until Mulgrave Station where we R onto Mulgrave Rd and follow until you reach Windsor Rd.  Turn L onto Windsor Rd, and follow it 3km to Windsor.

Scribe's rap-up of Sunday, 7 July, Quatre Montagnes anti-clockwise - only 76km, but 4 killer climbs

10 crew, albeit all males, rolled out of Turra' on an unseasonably warm, sparklin' blue Winter's morn' - only a minute late, thanks to Bazza rankling that "8:30am is too late".  Even Publican arrived on time.  After our customary 3.2km hammer up to Kalkari, 'twas Nth up the Pac H'way for 7.9km where we hooked a L into Berowra Waters Rd.  Alas, we lost Sputnik somewhere just afterwards, seemingly at the 2nd roundabout where we turned R heading Nth twds Berowra Waters.  At Berowra Waters Café amidst brill sunshine at our agreeable waterside alcove we caught up with Dieter and Helga who'd recently returned from 4½ weeks holidaying in central Europe, incl some tough days pedaling.

Tandem, a contemplative Bazza, Blonde Bombshell and Dieter soaking up the sun at Berowra Waters

After a longish Nosh (hoping that Sergey would find us), we beat up the 3.4km incline along Bay Rd to Koppers Log, where fortuitously BigGears convened a fleeting Sag allowing Teller, Publican and Tornado's mate, Garry to catch up.

Then it was SW along Bay Rd/Arcadia Rd to the "Galston Rd roundabout" for a L, then 1.1km to the R to descend the Gorge.  After a keenly contested 3.2km slog up to Hornsby Heights, we took a welcome Sag Stop at the familiar "resuscitation tent" [Bus Shelter] after 53km.  Thence it was back to Turra' via Bobbin Head arriving earlish at 1:10pm after 76km.  The speed merchants of Tornado, BigGears, Whippet 'n Navigator would 've averaged 23/25km, with Publican 'n Teller last home @ 21.5km - but there had been 4 hills to slow us up.

NB:   With Sputnik AWOL from Berowra onwards, so too was our digital toy, but by chance Andy Price, who hadn't ridden with Muggs for a couple of years, had brought along another new fangled camera, and sent thru the above 2 pics via cyber pigeon.
