Bank Teller’s rap-up of Brunch at Bayview – 82km
A lean team of six rolled out of St Ives at 7:15am.  After flying thru Duffys Forest, we arrived at West Head at 9am.  The silver-tail  Ferrari Car Club didn’t win an accolades from us, as a few of the 20 or so sleek red, black or silver Ferraris, which passed us as we approached the headland, weren’t fussy about giving us a metre when they throttled past.

After sighting Ian and Elfi just past Church Point, we settled in for brunch at Bayview Marina on schedule at 10:20am with 62km completed.  A check of the computers showed Whippet and Yamaha headed the averages with 25.5 km p/h.  The Navigator wasn’t far off that pace, with ToothFairy, Widget and Bank Teller all above 22.5km.

With no one champing at the bit to include the Akuna Bay adjunct on the return leg, we took the 22km direct route back to St Ives for more drugs ‘n grits at Pattisons Patisserie.
