CONSCIENTY CREW LIKE PJ AND WIDGET HAVE ALREADY ENTERED.  IN THE FINE PRINT WHERE YOU SIGN THE ENTRY FORM, IT SAYS THAT ALL CYCLISTS HAVE TO FINISH BY 12:30PM.  NOT SURE IF THAT IS TO GET THE ALL-INCLUSIVE LUNCH BACK AT DURAL C.C. POST-RIDE OR TO APPEASE THE POLICE.  IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO RIDE TOUR DE HILLS THIS SUNDAY, PLEASE BE READY TO RIDE AT 7:50AM.

Park in Dural C.C. car-park - 662a Old Northern Rd, Dural by 7:30am to rollout at 8am on anti-clockwise loop passing Glenorie, Cattai, Pitt Town, Oakville, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Glenhaven, Round Corner, Annangrove and Kenthurst.

If you enter by Thurs, 1 March, entry is $28 or $33 on the day - includes lunch - so you'd better fax fast to 9899.4850.  (Proceeds to St Gabriel's School for Hearing-Impaired Kids). 

Following weekend, 10/11 Mar, Loop the Lake w'end – 85km

AFTER REVIEWING PRICE INFO FROM LAKE MACQ TOURIST ASSOC AND MAKING A FEW CALLS, PJ HAS MADE A BOOKING TO COVER THOSE WHO HAVE ASKED HIM TO AT THE BAYSIDE TAVERN WARNERS BAY (A STONE'S THROW FROM THE SPEERS POINT START LINE) - TWINS @ $66 PER ROOM [$33 PER HEAD] AND SINGLE ROOMS ARE $44.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING WIDGET, SUE B, DIRTY CHEAT ETC FOR BELOW "LOOP THE LAKE" W'END DRIVING UP SAT 10 MARCH, LET PJ KNOW PRONTO

Rides: Sat. 60km from Fassifern at 1pm.  Sun. 85km Loop the Lake from Speers Point 8am

Grade: H  Group: Bike North.  Contact: Phil Johnston 9312.3319 (W) for B & Bs, restaurant  for Sat evening and w’end itinerary - Muggaccinos will ride with the locals on Sat arvo, dine with ‘em that evening and Loop the Lake on Sunday morn.”

Notify Widget or The Scribe, if you'd like details of B & Bs etc. near the Speers Point start to join us for a w'end on the upper Central Coast by driving from Sydney around 10am on Sat 16, March to -

(a)                  cycle 60km on Sat arvo

(b)                  wine/dine with a few Lake Macq cyclists on Sat evening and

(c)                  Loop the Lake on Sunday.
